"I'ma be here for a while longer than I did expect to." Lyrics from Jet Fuel by Mac Miller, which was released on August 3, 2018. He died barely a month later, on September 7, 2018. When I first listened to Jet Fuel, that lyric was already heart wrenching enough, knowing that he died so young. But coming back to that lyric later, I began to wonder how close to his death the song was released. 35 days. He lived 35 days before he lost his life. I have no real reason for writing this, and I don't have all that much to say about it. Just interesting and honestly devestating. RIP Mac Miller he deserved a longer life.
